Charity Consultants Ltd’s Grants Team offers research and grant writing services either as part of your team or as a freelance resource.  At a time when public sector funds are ever more important, our expertise as consultants, mentors or hands on practitioners can be extremely cost effective. We normally begin with a free assessment of your needs to clarify the brief.  We can research potential grant sources, including charitable trusts and foundations in the UK, Asia and the US, and statutory and EU sources, and work with you to develop high quality submissions to grant funders.  We have a very high success rate for clients in all disciplines.

Our team is adept at looking beyond published guidelines and brings collective understanding of the bid writing process gained over many decades.  Additionally, we can provide bid editing and mentoring support to grant writing staff.  One of the strengths of the Charity Consultants Network is that we usually have a number of Network Members with experience of your specific charity sector.

UK Lottery

We offer a lottery bid writing service, from the straightforward Awards for All through to the complex partnership programmes offered by the lottery and statutory funders.  

If you are working on a big bid, to the Lottery or other major funding body, where you know you will need to accompany the submission with volumes of data, you need to assess the effort required and chance of success before you start.  We can provide background data on:

• Guidance as to how much to apply for;
• Other grants in your sector/discipline/area;
• Profiles of trustees, committee members, expert panels and key staff;
